Dan Gelber Endorses José Javier Rodríguez for Florida Attorney General

Miami, FL.- Former Miami Beach Mayor and former state legislator Dan Gelber announced his support for José Javier Rodríguez for Florida Attorney General, emphasizing the need for experienced, disciplined leadership at the state’s top law enforcement office.

Gelber, who has served in executive and legislative roles at the local and state level, pointed to Rodríguez’s understanding of how government institutions should function and earn the public’s trust.

“I’ve served in every level of government, as a federal prosecutor, state legislator, and a local mayor. I've prosecuted corrupt public officials who serve themselves rather than the public and in Tallahassee I saw what happens when people assume the trust of an office and forget for whom they work." said Dan Gelber. “My full-throated endorsement of Jose is because I know him very well, and I know how amazing it would be to have someone of his unimpeachable character and substantial intellect fighting for everyday Floridians in the nest of vipers that has become Tallahassee. Floridians desperately need a lawyer that will have their six, and JJR will fight for only you."

“Dan Gelber understands what it takes to lead with integrity and seriousness in public office,” said José Javier Rodríguez. “He has spent his career focused on making government work better for the people it serves. I’m proud to have his support.”
