Fort Lauderdale, FL – Today, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Florida State Council officially endorsed José Javier Rodríguez for Attorney General of Florida during a press conference with workers and union members in South Florida.
SEIU Florida leaders and workers highlighted Rodríguez’s longstanding commitment to protecting workers, defending consumers, and holding powerful interests accountable, as well as his years of experience fighting for working families both as a workers’ attorney and in the Florida Legislature.
“Florida’s workers are tired - tired of a state government led by Ron DeSantis and James Uthmeier that has consistently failed working families and made life harder for workers across our state. That’s why SEIU Florida is proud to endorse José Javier Rodríguez for Attorney General,” said Helene O’Brien, Vice President for SEIU 32BJ and Florida District Director.
